Morrow Mountain
On our troop's campout to Morrow Mountain on January 13-January15 (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) we did a number of things.
We drove up on Saturday, unpacked and ate lunch. Also on Saturday, the map and compass instruction taught by Chris and Peter was a great success. Following that, was a fire building course taught by Jeremy and Kevin. I can not say that the fire building course was excellent, but it turned out okay. After all of the courses, we all sat back and relaxed, until dinner. Finally we sat around the campfire lstening to Brian tell his swell ghost stories, until we got tired and hit the sack.
On Sunday, we took our 5 mile hike. It seemed to go on forever, but when we got back we felt like we had not ever left. It was a very tiring hike, so when we got back, we relaxed the rest of the day, having RPG's and playing cards.
The next morning we got up and scarfed down breakfast. After breakfast, we packed up our things and left. The camping trip was great fun.
